It is a constant learning process to go back and forth between the realistic and surrealistic work as I study the way space and light help elicit a sense of mystery and illusion. There are several series in the realistic genre. New in the past year are Stolen Moment and Playmates. Whispers, Mother & Child, and Introspection are three more in the portrait and figurative series. Others in that series include The Sitter and Stairway to Denpasar. From my landscape series are Sierra Morning, If These Walls Could Talk II and On the Rocks. My floral series includes Love’s Token and Violet Delight. A year ago I completed and added Possibilities and Sophisticated Ladies to the still life series, both of which are part of the shoe series. Others in this series are Choices which is a variation on Possibilities, and Artist's Corner.
